Class Descriptions
Ease into Exercise: A 30 minute class using chair and other exercises to improve flexibility, balance and muscle strength.
Morning Stretch: A progressive stretch routine for improving flexibility, posture and range of motion. This class has been added to the end of our Ease Into Exercise Class.
Core Fusion: Incorporates yoga, calisthenics, and other power moves that incorporates a total body workout.
Sweat Shop Step Aerobics: A fun, up-tempo, multilevel cardio and dance routine that will boost your metabolism get you sweating and improve your endurance.
Power Step**: A new class that incorporates simple yet powerful routines mixed with intervals of power moves.
Body Power: We are renaming the evening body sculpting class to body power. The name says it all!
Ab Blast: In a hurry? Jump in at the end of the body sculpting class for 15 minutes of abdominal & core exercises targeting the 3 major regions.
Body Sculpting/Toning: A workout using dumbbells, resistance bands and stability balls to improve muscular strength, endurance and balance.
Reveille Boot Camp: Get your day started with a bang with this up-tempo combo class
Line Dance: A fun way to exercise while building coordination, balance and memory.
Hip Hop Dance: A high-energy cardio experience.
Kickboxing: Combines elements of boxing, martial arts and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning.
ZUMBA ® - A Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class – an effective, innovative and exciting workout designed for EVERYONE. Fun + Different + Easy + Effective = ZUMBA ® fun.
Yoga: 60 minutes of stretching, deep breathing and relaxation for all levels. (Reservation fee for this class.)
Tabata – Short interval training program comprised of various exercises, ending with breathing and stretching exercises – a real fat burning class!
Water Classes
Water Wellness: This class is designed for individuals with joint or musculoskeletal problems and those preparing for or recovering from surgery. Slow, flowing, rhythmic moves help to get your blood flowing and ease joint and muscular pain. This low intensity class is held in the therapy pool.
Aqua Fitness: This class will focus on strengthening, conditioning, toning, and balance using the water and other resistance equipment. This medium intensity class is held in the lap pool.
Aqua Functional: This class provides basic range of motion moves and a light cardio workout designed to improve daily living skills and performance. This medium intensity class with low level cardio movements is held in the therapy pool.
Wet ‘n Wild: This up-beat cardio class uses music to get your heart rate up to help you burn more calories while keeping the impact and pressure off your joints. This high intensity class is held in the lap pool.
Aqua Zumba®: Similar designed to the Latin-based land classes, this high intensity class will keep you moving through the water while reducing joint pressure. This class is held in the lap pool.
Aqua Deep: This class involves a 15 minute warm-up and stretch and 30 minutes of deep water (feet off the floor) workout using water and resistance equipment. This class is recommended for swimmers or those who are at least comfortable with your feet off the floor and will be held in the lap pool.
We are constantly evaluating our group exercise program to provide you with the best possible options and welcome your feedback. Classes with a consistent low attendance will be removed from the schedule or receive a format change.
